the Paradox of
Digital Connectivity

The Paradox of Digital Connectivity is an exploration of the complicated and often contradictory relationship between people and digital technologies. Consisting of four engaging components - an interactive question, a personal diary, a video with different points of view and an insightful essay - this project is designed to raise awareness and promote a more thoughtful and balanced engagement with digital media. Expertly combining interactive elements, personal stories, visual media and theoretical insights, it guides visitors through a deep understanding of the complex interplay between technology and personal and social connections.

During this project I did the Digital Declutter exercise. During this 30-day period, I deleted 103 apps including all my social media. I documented this in a diary that visitors could flip through. This section offers a personal, tangible element that contrasts with the digital theme of the project.
